Returns Policy

If you change your mind after you have made a purchase from us or have an issue with an item, please contact the Action Equipment store you purchased it through in the first instance, or for online orders please contact us as soon as possible.

For 40 years, Action Equipment has been passionate about helping customers with market-leading outdoor, lawn and garden equipment to ensure you get the right products for the job. We do, however, understand that sometimes things don’t always go quite to plan, and when this happens, here’s our commitment to you:

14 DAY RIGHT OF EXCHANGE POLICY

Under our 14-Day Right of Exchange policy, you can return any product for an exchange or Action Equipment store credit within 14 days of purchase. This is on the condition that the product is returned in its original condition (with packaging, where relevant) and invoice.

Please note, the following products/services are unable to be returned (except where they are deemed to be faulty):

  • Any non-stocking item ordered specially for you.
  • Any item with a custom fit-out or accessory fitted.
EXCHANGE PROCESS

If your order has been shipped/collected, we will arrange a goods return authorisation on your behalf.

All items to be returned will need to be examined by Action Equipment to ensure they are in a new, fully-functional, unused and undamaged condition, and be accompanied by their original packaging (where relevant), including any manuals and accessories. Exchanges will be declined if the above conditions are not met and the items fail the return inspection.

Upon confirmation of your returned items passing the above inspection, please allow up to ten (10) business days from the date of returning your items in-store for your exchange to be processed.

The exchange amount will be the original invoice value, less any shipping costs to and from you, handling fees, and any relevant supplier restocking fees that may be incurred.

FAULTY ITEMS

All items undergo a pre-delivery inspection. In the unlikely event you find your item to be faulty upon first use, please email info@actionequipment.co.nz immediately, so we can liaise with you to return the unit back to us.

Please note that all return-to-store delivery costs are by default at the customer’s expense; however, discretion will be applied where practical.

When the item arrives in-store, it will be assessed as a matter or urgency to determine the best course of action:

  • If deemed faulty, we will either repair or replace the item and communicate with you as quickly as possible.
  • If the item is deemed not to be faulty, or that the fault was caused by user error, we will contact you to explain the reasons behind this decision and to organise any repair work needed and/or to return the unit back to you at your own expense.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All orders placed with Action Equipment are subject to our Delivery and Collection Policy, Privacy Policy, Returns Policy, and our Terms & Conditions. By purchasing from Action Equipment, through either our website or through one of our stores, you are agreeing to all of these policies and the terms within them.
