Description
The Billy Goat PR551V power rake is designed for efficient removal of matted thatch from turf, clearing it in 50 cm wide passes.

Its robust construction is built to withstand even the most demanding conditions, ensuring durability and longevity.  One of its key features is the down-sweep rotation of the flails, which not only effectively pulls up the thatch but also propels the machine forward, making it self-propelled.  This feature greatly reduces operator fatigue by minimizing the effort required to move the machine.

Unlike many other power rakes available, the PR551V has a slightly heavier build, which includes durable steel guards, reinforced wheels, premium bearings, and a 10-gauge steel engine base.  This added weight helps absorb much of the machine’s vibration before it reaches the handle, resulting in improved operator comfort and easier handling, especially during extended periods of use.  This thoughtful design ensures the machine remains easy to control while delivering high performance in tough conditions.
