How to sharpen a chainsaw chain
It’s easy to sharpen your own chainsaw chain if you have a few minutes and the simple tools required. Action Equipment stocks everything you need to sharpen your saw. Watch the video above to learn how.
From time to time, you may prefer that Action Equipment sharpens your chain for you. We charge a flat rate of $1.00 (excl. GST) for every inch of bar, e.g. if you have a 16" bar on your chainsaw, it’ll cost $16 + GST to sharpen the chain. There’ll be a small additional charge to dismantle, clean and reassemble your saw if you bring the chain still on your saw.
Action Equipment can also advise you when a chain is no longer able to be sharpened and must be replaced.
